Clearable Warning Messages4, 4M, 4SI, 4Si MX, 4P, 4MPA "clearable warning" appears when the printer receives a print command that requires an option to be installed (such as additional memory or a PostScript SIMM). Depending on the situation, the printer will automatically reduce resolution, lower the level of page protection, compress the data, or abort the print job.

The printer first attempts to satisfy the print request by reducing resolution, then by lowering the level of page protection, then by compressing the data if possible.
