Epson RX-80/80FT/100
When the Epson RX-80/80FT/100 9 pin dot matrix printers were introduced they offered a number of new features over the Epson MX series, including faster printing speed. They were replaced by the RX-80FT+/100+. Each printer has two sets of DIP (Dual In-line Package) switches located on the center back of the main circuit board, access to which require the removal of the printer cover. These switches control certain printer functions and default settings, the details of which are listed below.
Always disconnect the product from both the power source and the host computer before removing the printer cover.
