Epson MX-80/80 FTThe MX series were the first printers available from Epson. They were introduced in 1979 and quickly became the best selling printer. They were replaced by the better specification RX and FX series printers. The printer has two sets of DIP (Dual In-line Package) switches located on the center back of the main circuit board, access to which require the removal of the printer cover. These switches control certain printer functions and default settings, the details of which are listed below. Warning: Always disconnect the product from both the power source and the host computer before removing the printer cover.
