Epson LQ-800/1000

The Epson LQ-800 and LQ-1000 were new additions, expanding the 24 pin LQ range. These printers formed the mid range and were compared in terms of workload to the FX series. They were launched in September 86 and replaced by the LQ-850 and LQ-1050 in June 1988. The printer has two sets of DIP (Dual In-line Package) switches located on the rear panel of the printer. These switches control certain printer functions and default settings, the details of which are listed below.
