Epson LQ-550/1010
The Epson LQ-550/1010 24 pin dot matrix printers were introduced in July 1989 as a replacement to the LQ-500. Although the specifications were similar they included the latest paper handling advancements - push tractor, paper parking, microfeed and envelopes. The printers have two sets of DIP (Dual In-line Package) switches located in a compartment above the main control panel. These switches control certain printer functions and default settings, the details of which are listed below.
