Epson FX-80+/100+The Epson FX-80+/100+ 9 pin dot matrix printers were launched in October 1985 to replace the FX-80/100 and discontinued in February 1986 when they were superseded by the FX-85/105 respectively. They can print at up to 160 characters per second and include near letter quality printing with fitted with an optional word-processing ROM. Each printer has two sets of DIP (Dual In-line Package) switches located under a corrugated plastic cover on the top right of the printer. These switches control certain printer functions and default settings, the details of which are listed below.
