SwitchFunction
SW2-1ON: 7-bit word length
SW2-1OFF: 8-bit word length
SW2-2ON: In the state that serial data entry is disabled: Reverse
SW2-2OFF: In the state that serial data entry is disabled: Reverse
SW2-3ON: channel=SPACE(RS-232C) TTY-TXD=MARK(Current Loop)
SW2-3OFF: channel=MARK(RS-232C) TTY-TXD=SPACE(Current Loop)
SW2-4ON: Reverse channel valid
SW2-4OFF: Reverse channel fixed

Warning : If SW2-2 and SW2-3 are set to ON simultaneously, the printer may be damaged.

JumperFunction
J1ON: Pull up DSR and DCD to +12v via 4.7K-ohm resistor
J2ON: Input data: RS-232C level
J2OFF: Input data: Current loop
J3ON: level
J4ON: Pull up TTY-TXD to +12V via 470-ohm resistor.
J5ON: Connect TTY-TXD Return to signal ground
J6ON: Pull up TTY-RXD to +12V via 470-ohm resistor.
J7ON: Connect TTY-RXD Return to signal ground.

Notes:

1. ON denotes the connection of the jumper, while OFF denotes the disconnection of the jumper.
2. Either RS-232C level or current loop level is selectable, but never both, simultaneously.
3. The serial interface is factory set to RS-232 level. To convert it to current loop level, cut the printed pattern between the through holes of J2 at the reverse side of the interface board and then connect J3 with a conductor.
