Known Issues

Cannot use Adobe Type Manager (ATM) fonts

You must be using Adobe Type Manager v2.51 or higher.

Indicates "00 EX READY", Will not go online

The Printer is set to VIDEO mode is should be CaPSL. Try this,

Press ONLINE to turn it off
press MENU and HOLD it til MODE = is indicated
Press > until MODE= CAPSL is indicated
Press Enter

Error Codes

11 TRAY PAPER	Paper Size Mismatch	Load the paper that matches the "PT SIZE" into the Multi-purpose tray.
12 PRINTER OPEN	Printer Door is open	Close the printer door
12 NO EP	NO Cartridge	install the EP cartridge
20 PAGE FULL	Printers memory is FULL	1: Add memory 2: Lower the DPI ie to 150 dpi 3: Set the "PAINT" to FULL PAINT (1.5meg required)
21 COMPLEX DATA	Data to complex	1: Add memory 2: Lower the DPI ie to 150 dpi 3: Set the "PAINT" to FULL PAINT (1.5meg required)
22 LINE ERROR	Data sent to quick or mismatch	Check printer cable connections
23 MEMORY FULL	Printer's memory recived too many fonts, overlays or macros	1: Add memory 2: Lower the DPI ie to 150 dpi 3: Set the "PAINT" to FULL PAINT (1.5meg required)

25 VECTOR REJECT	Printer must be set to FULL PAINT to enable VECTOR mode	Modify your data so that the printer enters full paint mode before it's printing. Issue "PAINT MEMORY MODE" command [CSI]&z before you print the file Also see 24 FULL PAINT REJ.

To enter to Menu
1: Press ONLINE ( to set printer OFFLINE)
2: Press MENU.

Key	Function
Menu	Enters the Menu mode from [00 READY] off line status
>	Scrolls the printing menu. Increments the numeric values.
<	Scrolls the printing menu. Decrements the numeric values.
^	Returns the current menu level to the previous menu level. Returns the printer to [00 READY] offline status from the group menu.
V Enter	Makes the selection. Advances to the next menu level. Saves the setting values in the printers memory.
Online	Exits the Menu mode and returns the printer to [00 READY] online status

Saving New data to NVRAM
