Recovery Disc

Warning: The recovery process will restore your computer to its "out of the box" state. This will delete all your personal files. Make sure that you save these to disk before you begin. Once the computer has been recovered you will not be able to retreive these files.

To run the recovery disc -

  • Insert the ME 2 recovery CD and restart your computer (if you have 2 drives the disc needs to go into the DVD drive).
  • The computer will boot from the CD and the recovery program will load.
  • You will be presented with several blue warning screens - read these carefully.
  • Press Y to proceed past each screen. The recovery will now begin.
  • Once complete remove the disc and press the CTRL, ALT and DEL keys to restart.
