Jumper Settings
JEN. This jumper allows you to enable or disable the JumperFree mode. The JumperFree mode allows processor settings to be made through the BIOS setup. 1-2 Jumper Mode, 2-3 JumperFree (default)
CPU External Frequency Setting (SW1 Switches 1-4). This option tells the clock generator what frequency to send to the CPU, DRAM, and the chipset. This allows the selection of the CPU's External frequency. The CPU External Frequency multiplied by the Frequency Multiple equals the CPU's Internal frequency.

Recovery Disc
The recovery process will restore your computer to its "out of the box" state. This will delete all your personal files. Make sure that you save these to disk before you begin. Once the computer has been recovered you will not be able to retreive these files. How to restore Windows Me on your Advent pc using the recovery disc.
- Insert the Advent recovery CD and restart your computer (if you have 2 drives the disc needs to go into the DVD drive).
- The computer will boot from the CD and the recovery program will load.
- You will be presented with several blue warning screens - read these carefully.
- Press Y to proceed past each screen. The recovery will now begin.
- Once complete remove the disc and press the CTRL, ALT and DEL keys to restart.
- You must now install the individual software titles from the discs supplied with your computer.
- The recovery process takes approximately 90 minutes.
Hard Drive Recovery
- Insert the Windows Millennium boot floppy disk and restart your computer.
- Wait for the disk to load, your will see a warning screen about data loss. Press Y.
- The license agreement will then be displayed. Press 1 to agree.
- Recovery will now begin. The process takes around 20 minutes.
