Memory
486 CPU Systems - The system comes with standard 4-MB/8-MB memory. You can upgrade the system memory by adding 72-pin 80ns memory modules. The system supports 4-/8-/16-/32-/64-MB single density or 8-MB and 32-MB double density SIMMS. Using Single density SIMMS you can populate all 4 banks to a maximum of 256MB. Using Double density SIMMS you can populate Bank 0 and 1 up to a maximum of 64MB.
Pentium Systems - The system comes with standard 8MB memory. You can upgrade this system by adding 72-pin 80ns memory modules. The system supports 4-/8-/16-/32-/64-MB SIMMs up to a maximum of 256MB. Unlike the 486 board, the memory must be fitted in matching pairs. Bank 0 and Bank 1 can contain different sizes of memory. This also applies to the memory card, which can only be used when all the memory sockets on the motherboard are full. With the memory card, the maximum memory is pushed up to 512MB.
Note - This is my interpretation of the information on Acer's website. It may be worth double-checking with Acer before upgrading.
