Upgrade Memory
The 760i uses industry standard DIMMs (Dual In-Line Memory Modules) which are SO (Small Outline) 70ns fast page mode 5 volt memory. The 760i has one memory slot which takes a 4/8/16MB DIMM, giving a maximum of 20MB (Includes the 4MB of RAM built into the motherboard).

JP1 is located at the middle-upper edge of the notebook, and it is not accessible unless the top cover of the notebook is removed. This procedure is difficult and not recommended. If the password has been forgotten, Acer recommends taking the unit to an authorized service center,
or contact Acer Technical Support to have the unit brought in for repair.
CPU Select
The main board has a DIP switch SW1 which selects the CPU type.
