Acer Recovery Media - Pre Feb 1997

Every Acer machine is normally supplied with a Software Recovery Media set, sometimes referred to as a CPR (Complete Product Recovery).The software recovery media set consists of a CD, labelled "Product Recovery CD ROM" and a floppy diskette labelled "Recovery Boot Disk".For legal reasons, Acer also shipped Windows 95 machines with a Windows 95 companion CD, however this takes no part in the recovery process.

Normally every machine should have been supplied with the correct version of the Recovery disks.If however replacements are required, you will first need to find the part number of the machine.This is normally a P/N number situated on the back of the computer underneath the bar code which is normally placed adjacent the communication ports.

Once you have the P/N number simply find it on the list below.
